Dr. Meredith Douglass, originally from Jackson, Mississippi, obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Alabama Honors College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as a presidential scholar. She went on to graduate from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. While in dental school, she received multiple awards and honors, including the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Award, the Regions Bank Scholarship for Academic Excellence, and Hembree Honor Society. After graduating from UMMC, she went on to practice in Vicksburg, Mississippi, treating patients from a variety of backgrounds. She has a passion for children and loves the rewarding career of dentistry. Her friendly and upbeat personality and passion for service shine through in her care for patients.
Outside of her career, Dr. Douglass loves the outdoors, finding enjoyment in hiking, skiing, and running with her husband Parks and their two dogs. They share a love for cooking, using fresh vegetables from Dr. Douglass’s home garden. Her husband is a neurophysiology fellow at the University of Utah Hospital.
